Abraham Lincoln is the greatest American of all time. If I had one time travel wish, I'd save his life. Now that I write that, I'm not sure what I'd do with my time travel wish. Maybe end the holocaust, but no guaranteeing there would have been a holocaust if Lincoln remained president. Causality is so crazy. Like a lot. Everything is intertwined.

Patience

As I sit here, waiting and hoping for the storm of the decade to cancel my classes tomorrow, I find it kinda crazy to think about where I was a year ago compared to where I am today. I don't think I've ever grown more as a person in one year than the past 365 days. Craziness.

I think people succeed (whatever that really means, another post entirely) because they devote everything they have to improving as a person, and making each day worth something in the end. They dedicate time and effort to pursuing the ultimate goal of success. It's a neverending process I think.

Well, it's just about bedtime. I swear, if classes are not cancelled for tomorrow, Ima be a madasspanda.

Snowpocalypse

Yeah it's snowing it's nuts off right now. Jack Frost is taking a dump all over Northeast Ohio, and the most annoying part of it all is how much news coverage this storm is getting. I don't understand why, the way they were covering it would make it seem like the Democrats had something to do with it. (According to Glenn Beck...just kidding)

Whatevs, hopefully I'll get to spend all day inside tomorrow, come on Dick Durst, you know you wanna cancel class.

Cynicism

Stop looking over my shoulder

I always try to do everything. I never want to take the easy way for really any reason. There's something about my no quit attitude that translates into the way I treat friendships. I want all my friends to mesh, and I hate it when they don't.

I always try to believe that tomorrow will be a better than a day than yesterday. It's really fucking hard sometimes, when you have people around you that are just plain old too cynical. Just keep a strong mind, and really, just stay in the here and now. A little planning never hurt anyone, but if you give it too much, you're done for. Live sort of planned, sort of instinctually, sort of oppertunistic, and you'll be fine. Oh and smile, people like that.
